Today you did that thing
when you get rallied up and yell
I'm glad I wasn't on the receiving end
today the sun kissed the earth
and children flocked to the park
it was a good day to awaken to
had warm fragrant coffee
and cool frozen yogurt
chit chatted with my mother
the brighter side showed for me
and indulged in life's little pleasures
